AUGUST 2010: Patrick's fourth book, Historic Photos of University of Georgia Football, is released.

MARCH 2010: Signs contract with Turner Publishing to write captions and text for the book Historic Photos of University of Georgia Football. Release date scheduled for August 2010.

DECEMBER 18, 2009: Hired by the Naples Daily News to interview and write a story on the Atlanta Falcons' Spencer Adkins.

DECEMBER 2009: Asked to be the Georgia Bulldogs blogger for PhilSteele.com.  First assignments were to preview and review the Independence Bowl vs. Texas A&M.

NOVEMBER 2009: Hired as a freelance writer for Covers.  To view Patrick's articles, visit the Covers website and type "Patrick Garbin" in the SEARCH box in the upper-right corner.

OCTOBER 2009: Became a Featured Columnist for the Bleacher Report, covering Georgia Bulldogs athletics.

JULY 14, 2009: Spoke to the Wilkes County Optimist Club of Washington, GA.  Event was held at Washington's Fitzpatrick Hotel.

JUNE 2009: Invited to sign books and give an informal talk at the third annual Gwinnett Reading Festival.  This year's event will be held on Saturday, October 17th at the Duluth Town Green in Duluth, GA.

DECEMBER 22, 2008: Hired as a consultant for the book, Yesterday and Today: USC Trojans. The book is published by Publications International, Ltd., authored by David Wharton of the Los Angeles Times, and due to be released by Fall 2009.

AUGUST 28, 2008: Hired as a consultant for the book, Yesterday and Today: Georgia Bulldogs. The book is published by Publications International, Ltd., authored by Mark Schlabach, and due to be released by Fall 2009.

AUGUST 8, 2008: Asked to appear on White Plains Cable's (New York) "Beyond the Game" hosted by John Vorperian to discuss Georgia football and Patrick's books and writing.

AUGUST 2008: Patrick's second and third books, The 50 Greatest Plays in Georgia Bulldogs Football History and About Them Dawgs!, are released.

FEBRUARY 2008: Patrick is invited by the Gwinnett County Public Library to do a book signing and an informal talk at its second annual Gwinnett Reading Festival to be held on Saturday, October 18th.

OCTOBER 2007: Signs contract with Triumph Books to write book entitled, The 50 Greatest Plays in Georgia Bulldog Football HistoryPublishing and release date scheduled for August/September of 2008.

SEPTEMBER 8 and 29, 2007: Patrick and Coach Vince Dooley signed copies of Then Vince Said to Herschel... at the University's main bookstore before the Bulldogs games against South Carolina and Ole Miss.

SEPTEMBER 1, 2007: Patrick's first book, Then Vince Said to Herschel: The Best Georgia Bulldog Stories Ever Told, is released.

JULY 2007: Publishing and release date for About Them Dawgs! is pushed back from November/December 2007 to the Summer of 2008.  Patrick and publisher, The Scarecrow Press, agree that the book should be released before the start of a football season and not during one.

DECEMBER 2006: Signs contract with Triumph Books to write book entitled, Then Vince Said to Herschel. Publishing and release date scheduled for fall of 2007.

APRIL 2006: Patrick's book, About Them Dawgs!, is signed by The Scarecrow Press, Inc., to be published and released in August or September 2007.

AUGUST 2005: Selected by Gridiron Magazine to write the cover story on Michael Vick of the Atlanta Falcons for the publication's first edition.
